Topton 150th Anniversary Celebration

The Borough of Topton is celebrating its Sesquicentennial, 150 years of Community Tradition and Topton Pride, on Saturday, May 30, beginning with a Vendor Street Fair along Home Avenue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Opening Ceremonies at 2 p.m. at the Hoch Memorial site. There will be a Block Party with family activities and music from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Topton Park, and a Fireworks/Drone Show beginning at 9:30 p.m. at the Brandywine Heights Area School District Middle School field. The Topton Mini-Museum at 44 W. Keller St. (which is also the site of the NASA Moon Tree planted in 1976) will be open to visitors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The raindate for this celebration is May 31.
