Meditation can remove stress and replace with a dose of inner peace. It is a natural remedy we all have at our disposal but sometimes knowing how to start is the hardest part. One of the easiest ways to begin meditating is with mindful body movements and surrounding yourself in nature. That is why we feel that meditating on top of a stand-up paddleboard is a great way to start. Meditation can help you disconnect from every day stress and mental demands and help you reconnect with yourself. Some benefits of meditation are; increase in ability to focus, anxiety and depression management, reduction of stress and pain and an improved immune system.
Class includes: 5 minute demo of basic stand-up paddleboard instruction, paddle to location of class, anchor to floating studio, 30-35 minute guided meditation, return paddle to launch destination. Board, paddle and life vest provided by Aqua Om Paddle. Rain date: July 3.
