SHILLINGTON, Pa. – The personal and memory care neighborhood at The Heritage of Green Hills will be hosting its next support group for caregivers of individuals suffering from dementia, as well as other debilitating diseases, online, at 3 p.m. on August 19. The monthly caregiver support groups take place on the third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Held in conjunction with the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, the sessions are free and open to the public.

“Any individual caring for a loved one with a debilitating disease is welcome to join us to find emotional support,” said Melissa Oley, marketing and admissions liaison for the personal and memory care neighborhood at The Heritage of Green Hills.

“Though we are still working in a virtual environment temporarily, the support group will continue to provide a safe, confidential, supportive environment for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships,” Oley continued. “The group also educates participants and helps them develop the skills and confidence to solve caregiving challenges.”

To register, visit https://bit.ly/AugCaregiverSupportGroup, or call 800-272-3900. To learn more about the group, contact Melissa Oley at 484-755-3228 or email [email protected].
