Why do you want to host a program on BCTV? Who is your intended audience? What are your goals for the program?

Examples: Guests, interviews, video clips, studio props, still photographs, self-produced footage, other visual aids, etc. BCTV has limited resources to do off-site taping, and this may incur additional production costs.

BCTV depends on our program hosts to help publicize and share programs across our community in addition to BCTV promotional tools.

There may be NO use of copyright protected content of any type. All content used in programming must be original and free from any copyrighted materials unless you have explicit permission to use them. Unauthorized use of copyrighted content (including AI generated content) may result in your submission being removed and could lead to legal consequences. Please ensure that all content you provide complies with copyright laws.

Community Standards: Recognizing BCTV’s status as a non-profit corporation, there will be no obscene, indecent, libelous or slanderous material, no inflammatory material, no lottery is involved, and no lottery information will be cablecast; there will be no religious proselytizing, no commercial advertising and no political campaigning.

BCTV is a 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations and sponsorship. There is a suggested donation level of $75 per episode to help defray the costs of our studio and services. All program hosts are encouraged to become donors to BCTV at a level that is comfortable for them. Program underwriting/sponsorship information will also be provided to you by the Programming Director. By submitting this proposal, you agree to be added to our annual fundraising campaign mailing list and receive emails and other communications from BCTV.
