That Time a Carp Towed the Kayak at Marsh Creek!

5/26/26: A gorgeous day kayak fishing and filming for RAPTR Adventures on Marsh Creek Lake. Patience and some experience helped land and release a personal best carp. It was a tank.

That feeling when a big fish is pulling your kayak around the water, and you’re wrangling with line that you know is way lighter than whatever’s pulling you from deep below, is exhilarating, to say the least. It’s part of why I enjoy kayak fishing so much. You’re very in touch with nature in moments like this. The video is an edited 6:30 from the more than ten minutes of fish wrangling.

Plus, I got seven miles of pedaling exercise on the log book, so, for better or worse, multi-tasking continues to be my lifestyle. 🤪😂
