Berks Community Television is a volunteer driven organization. Volunteers serve on our Board of Directors and various committees, produce and host programs, help in the office, write stories for the community, contribute time during our Octoberfest Auction and other fundraisers, and also serve as technical volunteers in our studio.
Television Production Volunteers
Each Television Production Volunteer plays an integral part in BCTV’s live telecasts by operating cameras, assisting with set changes and helping our staff and producers to create great community programming. Depending on your skills, interest, and availability, you may become more involved in learning about and participating in other facets of BCTV’s telecasting (studio set-up, camera switching and remote telecast operations.) Television Production Volunteer work hours are very flexible. A volunteer may work 2 hours per week, 2 hours per month, or whatever arrangement you make with BCTV staff to fit your schedule. No experience is necessary, we will train you!
