Wendy Parsons Named Vice President of Advancement at Albright College

Reading, PA – Philanthropy professional Wendy Parsons, CFRE, has been named vice president of advancement at Albright College, beginning her new role on January 31. Parsons’s 32-year professional career in development offers renewed energy to Albright College’s historic campus.

“I am very excited to be joining the Albright community,” said Parsons. “From the moment I stepped onto campus, I could sense that Albright is a special place. I see a vibrant community of students, faculty, alumni and staff who care about each another and are committed to doing their best.

Parsons comes to Albright from Monmouth University in West Long Branch in New Jersey, where she served as associate vice president of development. During her time at Monmouth, she worked closely with the deans and directors of development for the university’s six schools. She was also responsible for mentoring team members in creating and executing donor strategies.

Prior to her time at Monmouth, Wendy spent a decade with Saint Joseph’s University, first as assistant vice president (2008) and later named associate vice president (2013).
