On Friday, April 26, we again present the annual Dancing With The Reading Stars, a sensational fundraising event for the Yocum Institute for Arts Education. The Yocum Institute has been providing top-notch arts education to our community for years, and we are thrilled to offer this event again to help keep the arts alive in our town.
The night will be filled with live music, entertainment, dinner, and of course, dancing! Nine talented and brave couples from various businesses and organizations throughout the local area will take the stage and perform for your votes, all while sweeping you off your feet with their impressive moves and captivating energy. From tik tok to salsa, musical theater to Tahitian dancing, there will be something for everyone to enjoy as we also sprinkle in some other incredible performances throughout the evening.
But that’s not all! Berks County’s own sensation, THE UPTOWN BAND, will be providing the live musical interludes and leading the amazing after-performance dance party! Their electrifying performances will keep you on your feet and wishing the night goes on forever.
