Reading, Pa. – Albright College’s fashion and costume students will host a high-energy fashion showcase on Saturday, May 6.

The exhibition showcase will include everything from fashion illustrations to marketing plans. Two runway shows will highlight a variety of student-created looks, including children’s, men’s and women’s wear. Due to limited seating in Albright’s Wachovia Theatre, two identical runway shows will be held this year, running from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and again from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Students from neighboring 13th and Union Elementary School will walk the runway this year in garments inspired by various cultures. These garments, adorned with the elementary students’ artwork, were created by Albright fashion students who spent the spring semester working with third-graders on a cultural exchange project using the media of art and fashion.
