The Greater Reading community is invited to attend a free one-night MeetupLearn Trending, Trademarks and Traction: The Startup Information You Didn’t Know You NeededOctober 10th from 6:30-8:30pm. This seminar covers important topics for learning about trends in business, trademarks, how to build traction with your new business, and the immense amount of free resources found at local libraries that can help entrepreneurs.

Did you know that local libraries offer an immense amount  of free resources that can help entrepreneurs?
Sarah Hartman-Caverly from the Penn State Berks Library will  discuss problem solving and trends in consumer activity. Jesse  Royer from the Reading Public Library will elaborate on ways  you can best utilize free resources in business planning, market discovery, competition, B2B analysis, and local consumer interests. Karen Klein from Fulcrum Information Resources will discuss  protecting your intellectual property with a focus on trademarks and copyrights, and then close the session with a demo of the  U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s online database.
