Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill walk-through only display due to COVID-19

Reading, PA — The Berks County Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that the annual Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill program will continue this year, but as a walk through only light display due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our staff is currently working on installing the dazzling light display that will set the grounds of Gring’s Mill aglow with holiday cheer. The display will be available for public viewing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Dec. 4 until Dec. 20. There will also be special Christmas week viewing from Monday, Dec. 21 to Wednesday, Dec. 23.

There will be no charge for parking this year. Light refreshments will be available through Beansie’s Mobile Espresso Café food truck. Visitors are asked to practice social distancing while enjoying the light display and are required to wear masks or face coverings.
