The event is free and open to the public.

The gates will open at 9 a.m. Attendees are invited to Help Stuff a Bus. Berks Encore, in partnership with BARTA, is accepting donations of non-perishable food and personal hygiene items, including cereal, peanut butter, grains (rice, oatmeal, etc.), fruit juice, dry milk, pasta, beans, snack items, soup, canned good (tuna fish, meats, chili, stew, fruit, and vegetables), shampoo, bath soap, hand soap, toothpaste, lotion, toothbrush, deodorant, comb, and hairbrush. Donations will be distributed to older adults in Berks County.

Guests will have the opportunity to walk the track and take part in short fitness demonstrations presented by the Berks Encore Health & Wellness team. A variety of entertainment will be presented from the Plaza stage starting at 9:30 a.m. with magic by Matty Whipple. At 10:30 a.m., Meredith McGrath, dietitian for Redner’s Markets, will present “Mindful vs Mindless Eating: How to Create a Positive Relationship with Food, Eat What You Love, and Still Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle!” At 11:45 a.m., The Music of Elvis by Jeff Krick Sr. will kick off. At 1 p.m., there will be a performance by Erich Cawalla, singer, saxophonist, and recording artist. The Plaza is sponsored by Heritage of Green Hills, and the Entertainment is sponsored by Griswold Home Care of Berks County, Senior Helpers, and White Star Tours.

Concession stands will be open in the plaza, serving ballpark fare for lunch. WEEU radio will broadcast live from 6 a.m. to 12 noon from inside the gates of the ballpark. Local businesses will be set up in the plaza and concourse. Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center will host a Health Fair located in the third base picnic pavilion.
