Berks Book Bonanza began accepting donations this week as part of its spring collection period. Now through Saturday, June 13, volunteers will be on hand to accept donations of gently used books, DVDs, puzzles, games, and more during select days and times.
The spring collection will take place during the following schedule:
- Mondays and Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to noon
- Wednesdays, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Four select Saturdays: March 14, April 11, May 9, and June 13, 9 a.m. to noon
The final donation acceptance date for the 2026 sale will be Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. Donations will not be accepted on Monday holidays.
Volunteers will be on hand to accept donations at the rear entrance of Berks County South Campus, located at 400 E. Wyomissing Ave. in Mohnton. A complete list of acceptable donations is available on the Berks Book Bonanza website at www.berksbookbonanza.org.
Berks Book Bonanza is made possible through community donations and the efforts of its volunteers. Funds raised from the annual gently used book sale go to the Friends of Berks County Public Libraries and the Reading Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), which supports the public libraries of Berks County and provides scholarships to women.
