From Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County
Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County (BCSS) is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to its Board of Directors: Ellen Albright, Tammy Dahms, Tracy Parmer, Brooke Specht, and Matt Wolf.
“We are honored to welcome these outstanding community leaders to our Board of Directors,” said Michele Reinert, Executive Director of BCSS. “Each brings unique professional expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for serving others that will help strengthen our mission of providing hope, emotional support, education, and resources to every person affected by breast cancer.”
Ellen Albright serves as Executive Director of Communications and External Relations for the Total Experience Learning Institute at Alvernia University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and is currently pursuing her MBA at Alvernia University. Ellen brings extensive experience in strategic communications, partnership development, and educational innovation. She also serves on the Exeter Community Education Foundation Board and the Visions Federal Credit Union Berks County CEO Advisory Board.
Tammy Dahms is Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the Santander Arena & Performing Arts Center and the ECHL Reading Royals. A graduate of Elizabethtown College with degrees in Business Administration and Theatre Performance, Tammy has built a successful career in nonprofit arts, sports marketing, hospitality, and sponsorship development. She specializes in creating meaningful community partnerships that benefit both organizations and the communities they serve. Tammy currently serves as Secretary of the BCSS Board and volunteers with the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Women2Women program and the ECHL Women in Sports Planning Committee.
Tracy Parmer is a Regulatory Affairs Consultant with FirstEnergy and has been a resident of Berks County for the past 25 years. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice from Penn State University and Applied Psychology from Albright College, as well as an MBA in Community and Economic Leadership from Alvernia University. Tracy co-founded the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter of FirstEnergy Women in Leadership and currently chairs the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Women2Women Advisory Council. Her leadership experience and commitment to community engagement make her a valuable addition to the BCSS Board.
Brooke Specht has been with Penske Truck Leasing for 25 years and currently serves as Director of Order-to-Cash Modernization and Contract Administration. She holds both a bachelor’s degree in Business and an MBA from Alvernia University. Brooke also serves as Chair of Penske’s Women Business Resource Group for the Pennsylvania region. She brings extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development, along with a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
Matt Wolf is a lifelong Berks County resident and leader of The Matt Wolf Team at RE/MAX of Reading. A former science educator, Matt holds degrees from West Chester University and Alvernia University. Throughout his distinguished real estate career, he has earned membership in the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame and received the Lifetime Achievement and Circle of Legends Awards. Matt has served numerous community organizations, including the Wilson School Board, Wilson Education Foundation, Olivet Boys & Girls Club, and Alvernia University’s President’s Advisory Council. His connection to the BCSS mission is deeply personal, as his wife, Amy, is a breast cancer survivor.
The Board of Directors congratulates Ellen, Tammy, Tracy, Brooke, and Matt on their election and looks forward to their leadership and service in advancing the mission of Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County.
Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County is a survivor-driven organization that provides hope, emotional support, education, and resources to every person affected by breast cancer.
Through support groups, educational programs, survivor outreach, and community resources, BCSS ensures that no one faces breast cancer alone.
