West Reading Community Revitalization Foundation (WRCRF) will host the 32nd annual Art on the Avenue, Berks County’s premiere art and music festival, on Saturday, June 20, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., spanning the 400 to 700 blocks of Penn Avenue. The event is rain or shine and showcases the work of local and regional artists, crafters, vendors, West Reading businesses, musicians, and other talents. The entire festival is pedestrian-friendly, boasting upwards of 200 vendors, and is free and open to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The WRCRF thanks the 2026 sponsors: Customers Bank, The American Diner, and BMW, who will have a test-drive activation on the 400 block. Seventeen musical acts will play on three stages starting at noon.

The WRCRF, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, produces multiple events during the year on Penn Avenue. During Art on the Avenue, Art Plus Gallery hosts Plein Air West Reading, a weeklong creative event in its 10th year, where over 30 artists from across the country capture the beauty and character of West Reading and Berks County in their own unique style. During the Saturday festival, award winners are showcased and sold under large tents near 6th and Penn Avenues.

Prior to the opening at 11 a.m., Safe Berks will hold its “Walk for No More,” campaigning against domestic abuse, which begins near 8th Avenue and will continue east on Penn Avenue to the 400 block.
