City of Reading Invites Community to Final Weekend of Official Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zone

The City of Reading, in collaboration with Experience Reading & Berks County and Philadelphia Soccer 2026, will once again welcome residents and visitors to downtown Reading this weekend for the official Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zone presented by Visit PA, bringing international soccer excitement to Reading, PA.

Hosted at Reading Arena (Santander Arena) and throughout the 600 and 700 blocks of Penn Street, the free, family-friendly event will feature live FIFA World Cup 2026™ watch parties, an outdoor block party with live entertainment, interactive games, youth soccer activities, meet-and-greets with Telemundo62 personalities, vendors, food and beverage options, and activities for all ages. Inside Reading Arena, fans can watch Telemundo’s live Spanish-language broadcasts of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ on giant 40-foot screens in a fully air-conditioned venue.

Reading is the only Official Pennsylvania World Cup Fan Zone offering Spanish-language match broadcasts, providing a unique viewing experience for the region’s large Spanish-speaking community. Fans who prefer to watch the matches in English can enjoy FOX’s live broadcasts at the outdoor viewing area located at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading.

Traffic impacts

To safely accommodate the event, the following road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect:

Street closures will begin in phases after 5 a.m. July 18, with full closures in place by 9 a.m. The closures will remain in effect through each event weekend before reopening by approximately 11 p.m. on July 19.
