Tower Health Launches First-Ever Walk-In Mammogram Screening Events

From Tower Health

Tower Health is making breast cancer screening more convenient than ever.

For the first time, eligible women can walk in for a screening mammogram – no appointment required – during special “Get the Scoop on Mammograms” events throughout August at participating Tower Health locations.

Get the Scoop on Mammograms Walk-In Screening Events will be held on:

Women who receive a screening mammogram during one of these events will also enjoy a complimentary ice cream treat as a sweet way to celebrate taking an important step for their health.

The walk-in events were created to make it easier for women to prioritize their breast health. Between work, family, and busy schedules, finding time for a mammogram isn’t always easy. By eliminating the need for an appointment on select days, Tower Health hopes more women will take advantage of this convenient opportunity to get screened.

For the walk-in event, eligible women should be ages 40 and older who have not had an annual screening mammogram in the past year and do not currently have signs or symptoms in their breast. Screening mammograms typically take approximately 10 minutes.

Whether you’ve been meaning to schedule your annual mammogram or have been waiting for a more convenient opportunity, these events make it easy. Simply walk in, get your screening, and enjoy a complimentary ice cream treat on us.
