ProBerco Welcomes Christopher Zatwarnicki to Its Board of Directors

ProBerco is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher “Chris” Zatwarnicki to its Board of Directors. Chris currently serves as Chief Physicist and Director of Radiation Oncology at Reading Hospital McGlinn Cancer Institute. Prior to this role, he held the position of Medical Physicist at Reading Hospital.

Chris brings a strong academic and professional background to the Board. He earned a Master of Science in Medical Physics from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh. With his extensive expertise in healthcare, science, technology, and data-driven analytics, Chris will be a valuable asset to ProBerco’s team of professionals.

Throughout his career, Chris has overseen multiple cancer treatment technology implementation projects at Reading Hospital, contributing to advancements in patient care and clinical innovation. He also participated in the Leadership Berks Blue Mountain Camp program, an experience he found personally rewarding. It was through the Leadership Berks program that Chris reconnected with ProBerco and renewed his commitment to its mission.

Chris has a longstanding personal connection to ProBerco, with his family sharing a history of involvement with the organization. Inspired by his early exposure to ProBerco’s impactful work in the community, he was motivated to join the Board and help advance its mission. He looks forward to contributing his skills and perspective to support the organization’s continued success.

A resident of the Reading area, Chris lives with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, participating in outdoor activities, and running. His personal interests also include DJing and exploring amusement parks, particularly checking roller coasters off his growing list of experiences.
