by Humane Pennsylvania

Humane Pennsylvania (HPA) is excited to announce a brand-new collaboration with Pagoda City Brewing Company in creating a custom beer can design that features HPA mascots, Spike and Tilly! Introducing Spike & Tilly’s Slobber Lager, a delicious crisp American Lager that is sure to make all dog lovers drool.

This Premium 4.6% ABV Lager has “a bready malt character and delicate corn sweetness to represent the comfort of our small central Pennsylvania community,” according to Pagoda City.

“We are so grateful to Pagoda City Brewing for bringing this fun, unique opportunity to fruition to benefit the animals in our care and communities,” said Lauren Henderson Pignetti, Humane Pennsylvania Director of Development. She continued, “This partnership will help provide life-saving treatment, shelter, and care to the most vulnerable animals in need before they find their new forever families.”

Humane Pennsylvania and Pagoda City Brewing will celebrate the beer’s initial launch on Friday, April 19, from 6-8 p.m., at the Pagoda City Brewhouse Taproom & Lounge, 101 N. Carroll St., Reading.

After Friday’s Launch Party, Spike & Tilly’s Slobber Lager will be available at Pagoda City locations and Humane Pennsylvania’s mini Pints for Pups event with Pagoda City Brewing on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 12-4 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from all Spike & Tilly’s Slobber Lager sales will benefit Humane Pennsylvania’s programs and the animals in their care.
