Berks History Center Presents:  Carsonia Park with Author Paul Druzba

The Berks History Center will host a special evening program about Carsonia Park on June 20, 2017 at 6PM at the Berks History Center, located at 940 Centre Ave. Reading, PA 19601.

Paul Druzba, author of the newly released book, “Carsonia Park – Midway of Memories,” will share the fascinating history behind Berks County’s favorite long-lost treasure: Carsonia Park. During the event participants will enjoy a presentation and book signing with Paul Druzba. Refreshments will be provided.

Admission to the program is $5.00 and includes access to Berks History Center’s Museum exhibits where participants will have an opportunity to explore the treasures of Berks County’s extraordinary past. In order to tour the museum, program participants are encouraged to arrive at least an hour prior to the start of the program.

Paul Druzba’s book, “Carsonia Park – Midway of Memories,” covers the entire 50+ years of Carsonia’s history, from soggy bottomland on the Schweitzer farm, to one of the finest amusement parks in the region, known throughout the mid-Atlantic states. The book is currently available for purchase at the Berks History Center Museum Store.
