Please note: Interviews for Summer ’20 internships will be held the week of March 16th
College students are invited to gain practical, on-the-job technical training and hands on media experience at Berks Community Television.
Interest in community activities and events of local interest is recommended. Interns are required to act and dress in a professional manner while associated with and representing the organization. BCTV is located at 1900 North 13th Street in the Berks Community Media Center on the campus of Albright College.
Community Media Internship Program
BCTV accepts applications for internships for all scholastic semesters. Students gain hands-on experience working side-by-side with our staff to learn about live event coverage, camera and technical operations, audio/video components, and live studio programming. Other responsibilities may include content curation, digital file management, creation of website or social media content, participation in station events, and other administrative duties.
Interns generally work between 12-25 hours weekly based on the requirements of their field of study.
Applicants should be enrolled with an institution of higher learning which offers college credit for internships. Non-credit ‘experience internships’ may be available on a case-by-case basis.
