Internship Opportunities

College students pursuing a degree in any field are invited to gain practical, on-the-job technical training at Berks Community Television.

Interest in community activities and events of local interest is recommended. Interns are required to act and dress in a professional manner while associated with and representing the organization. BCTV is located at 1900 North 13th Street in the Berks Community Media Center on the campus of Albright College.

Television Production Internship

BCTV accepts applications for Television Production internships for all scholastic semesters. Interns gain hands-on experience with BCTV production staff in event coverage, camera and technical operations, audio/video components, and live programming. Interns generally work between 20 and 40 hours weekly.

The internship is unpaid, and applicants should be enrolled with an institution of higher learning which offers college credit for internships. Non-credit ‘experience internships’ may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Social Media Internship

BCTV accepts applications for Social Media internships for all scholastic semesters. Interns maintain our social media sites, including creating posts and scheduled updates, maintenance of online event information, and other digital media related tasks. Interns generally work between 20 and 40 hours weekly.

If you are interested in an internship please email [email protected].
