Barley Snyder Hires Daniel McCarthy

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is proud to announce it has welcomed another attorney into its fold.

The firm announced it has hired Daniel G. McCarthy as an associate in its Business Practice Group. McCarthy is a Lehigh Valley native who will be working primarily out of the firm’s Reading office.

McCarthy received both his law degree and undergraduate degree from Temple University, where he graduated magna cum laude this year from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. While at Temple Law, he was a staff editor of the Temple Law Review and he worked internships in both federal and municipal courts.

McCarthy is returning to Barley Snyder after working in the firm’s highly competitive summer associate program in 2016.

“This is a testament to the effectiveness of our summer associate program and the intense recruiting we do for it,” Barley Snyder managing partner Jeff Lobach said. “We look for the best young legal minds that are out there, and then through our summer associate program we can identify the ones that have the unique dedication to the law that the attorneys of Barley Snyder have always had. Dan certainly fits that description.”

The hiring of McCarthy, a graduate of Emmaus High School in Lehigh County, brings the total number of attorneys at Barley Snyder to 81.
