RACC to host Government and Non-Profit Job Fair

Reading, PA– The Career Center at Reading Area Community College is hosting its first Government and Non-Profit Job Fair on Tuesday, November 14, from 1 to 4 pm in the Gust Zogas Student Union Building. Representatives from over 20 non-profit and government organizations will be on campus to meet with students seeking full-time, part-time and seasonal employment and internship opportunities.

Employers attending the Job Fair include: AARP Foundation SCSEP, Allentown Police Department, Concern, County of Berks, Devereux, Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, KenCrest Services, Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine, Miller-Keystone Blood Center, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, PA Air National Guard, U.S. Army, PA State Police, Prospectus Berco, Reading Police Department, Service Access & Management Inc., St. Luke’s University Health Network, Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc., Threshold and many more.

Students, alumni and community members are all encouraged to attend. “The Government and Non-Profit Job Fair is a great opportunity to network with employers. Many of the jobs and internships that are filled at job fairs are never advertised anywhere else.” says Marlene Fares, RACC Career Development Specialist.
