‘Inspire the Night’ benefit dinner raises funds for THON

READING, Pa. — Penn State Berks benefiting THON will host the inaugural “Inspire the Night” benefit dinner on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading. The purpose of the event is to immerse attendees in the world of THON by raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer, while expressing the importance of art opportunities for the youth in our communities.

The evening will include speakers, games, silent and live auctions, and dancing. Attendees will include business and community members from Berks County and beyond, as Berks benefitting THON honors a significant benefactor to the organization. The event will also feature artwork created by third and fourth graders across the 14 school districts in Berks County who participated in the second annual Berks benefitting THON Art Contest held in fall 2017.

Some say THON is not a place or a destination, but a feeling that is created for 46 hours. Through our Inspire The Night Benefit Dinner, you will be transported to a place where you will experience the feeling that is beyond belief. The evening will invite you on to the “floor” to be a part of the magic that is THON.
