The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop L, Hamburg Station, will be conducting a free child seat safety check-up event on Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 1300 to 1900 hours. The check-up will take place at the Bridge Church located on Old Route 22 in Windsor Township, Berks Co.
Trained Child Seat Passenger Safety Technicians will be at the location to check child seats and booster seats to ensure that they are safely installed. Children up to 4 years of age are required to be in a properly secured Child Passenger Restraint System. Children ages 4 to 9 years old are required to be properly secured in a Child Booster Sear. All drivers, front seat passengers, and passengers under the age of 18 years are required to be properly secured in a Safety Sear Belt System when in a passenger vehicle.
