Spherion Honors Local Franchise Owners with Prestigious President’s Award

READING, PA. — Spherion Staffing Services, a local recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider, recently honored Pennsylvania franchise owners Phil Frassinelli, Sr., Phil Frassinelli, Jr. and Marlene Frassinelli with the company’s 2017 President’s Award.

Distributed annually, the Spherion President’s Award recognizes the six individual Spherion owners or ownership teams who best have achieved continuous sales growth and demonstrated an overall commitment to local workforce improvement and community development during the preceding three years. Together, the Frassinellis own and operate eight Spherion branches throughout Pennsylvania, delivering customized workforce solutions to local businesses in Carlisle, Camp Hill, Reading, Bethlehem, Hazleton, Wilkes Barre, Pittston, and Scranton.

In 2017, the Frassinellis continued to reap the benefits of an aggressive long-term growth plan, reflected in the increase in revenue and gross profit growth year over year for the past 3 years. Through a strategic collaboration with Randstad and a reinforced emphasis on recruiting and finding the right fit for clients, the Frassinellis successfully closed large deals in their market. The team also extended its staffing services to a wider range of Keystone State businesses and job seekers with the opening of a new branch in Bethlehem.

The Frassinellis’ entrepreneurial drive led them to become franchise owners while working as Spherion employees in 2009. Since then they have expanded the company’s workforce services across northeastern Pennsylvania. The Frassinellis’ additionally have grown Spherion’s community presence through involvement with local economic and philanthropic organizations.
