READING, PA. — Spherion Staffing Services, a local recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider, recently honored Pennsylvania franchise owners Phil Frassinelli, Sr., Phil Frassinelli, Jr. and Marlene Frassinelli with the company’s 2017 President’s Award.

Distributed annually, the Spherion President’s Award recognizes the six individual Spherion owners or ownership teams who best have achieved continuous sales growth and demonstrated an overall commitment to local workforce improvement and community development during the preceding three years. Together, the Frassinellis own and operate eight Spherion branches throughout Pennsylvania, delivering customized workforce solutions to local businesses in Carlisle, Camp Hill, Reading, Bethlehem, Hazleton, Wilkes Barre, Pittston, and Scranton.

Through a strategic collaboration with Randstad and a reinforced emphasis on recruiting and finding the right fit for clients, the Frassinellis successfully closed large deals in their market. The team also extended its staffing services to a wider range of Keystone State businesses and job seekers with the opening of a new branch in Bethlehem.

“The Frassinellis are a true testament to determination, perseverance and a reliance on each other’s expertise and partnership that goes beyond being related to each other,” said Sandy Mazur, Spherion Division President. “Their excellent sales results and complimentary customer feedback reflect their dedication to putting Pennsylvanians to work. We are thrilled to honor Phil Sr., Phil Jr. and Marlene with a 2017 President’s Award, and we know that even greater things are in store for them in 2018.”

The Frassinellis’ entrepreneurial drive led them to become franchise owners while working as Spherion employees in 2009. Since then they have expanded the company’s workforce services across northeastern Pennsylvania. The Frassinellis’ additionally have grown Spherion’s community presence through involvement with local economic and philanthropic organizations.
