Ready.Set.READ! and United Way present “READAPALOOZA Week”

Tuesday, July 17: More than 50 children representing Olivet Boys & Girls Club, a United Way agency partner, as well as from area childcare centers, participate in a special activity, “Berks County Rocks! with Ready.Set.READ!” at Pendora Park. Ready.Set.READ! and United Way Emerging Leaders United (ELU) volunteers serve as story tellers and children paint rocks based on the stories. The children will hide the rocks in the area and within their neighborhoods for others to find, inspiring creativity and community. Children also received a free book, courtesy of Ready.Set.READ!
