Albright College to Offer Halloween Evening Comedy

Reading, PA – Be sure this Halloween is filled with laughter, by enjoying “Unwrapped Candy: a Sketchy Halloween Spectacular,” Wed., Oct. 31, at 9:30 p.m., in Albright College’s Roop Hall.

Presented by Albright’s student-run Sketch Society, the evening festivities will include comedy, music and spooky fun. Albright’s Sketch Society students write and perform sketch comedy. Brief satirical vignettes are played out in one to 10 minute segments, often improvised by the actors.

Roop Hall, located in Albright’s celebrated Center for the Arts is home to the college’s annual concert series and hosts student performances by groups that include the Albright College Thespian Society, Albright Improv and the Sketch Society. Named one of the nation’s top 25 schools for artistic students, Albright has also been one of the most highly decorated programs by the prestigious Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
