Extol

(verb)

Extol means to praise highly; laud; eulogize.

President’s Day gives us a chance to extol exemplary leaders like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

(Middle English) extollen < (Latin) extollere– to lift up, raise, equivalent to ex-out of + tollere-to lift, raise up

The Word of the Week (WOW) program was inaugurated at the Muhlenberg School District in 2010 and for the past eight years, the school district, local community and beyond have been involved in promoting literacy through the Word of the Week (WOW) vocabulary initiative.
