Memorial Day Ceremony at Jim Dietrich Park

The Muhlenberg Township Parks & Recreation Department is planning a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27th at 10AM at Jim Dietrich Park near the flag pole.

Our program will consist of Colonel Donald Kline USAF (retired); who is currently the Junior ROTC instructor at Muhlenberg High School as our guest speaker, State Rep. Mark Rozzi and Charlene Flannery, a Gold Star Mother, will also be speakers. The posting of the colors will be done by Boy Scout Troops #161 & #155.

Music will be provided by the Muhlenberg High School Camerata under the direction of Bill Snelling. “In Flanders’s Field will be recited by Jesus Dominguez Casteneda, president of the National Honor Society. Wreaths will be laid in honor of Gold Star families and all military branches, as well as Military Police and Fire Fighters. Light refreshments will be served afterward at the Steve Landes’ pavilion.
