Reading, Pa. – Vision Resource Center of Berks County has been selected as a beneficiary of the GIANT Bags 4 My Cause Program for the month of June 2019.
The GIANT Bags 4 My Cause Program is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
Vision Resource Center was selected as the June beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the GIANT located at 2104 Van Reed Road, West Lawn, Pa. Vision Resource Center will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Bags 4 My Cause Bag is purchased at this location throughout June, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
“We were pleasantly surprised to be chosen by Giant to be the beneficiary of its program throughout June,” said Lori Schermerhorn, president/CEO, Vision Resource Center of Berks County. “This is a wonderful way that our community can participate easily to help both children and adults who are blind or visually impaired to have resources at their fingertips.”
