Rainbow Theatre announces auditions for Disney Frozen Jr.

Rainbow Theatre announces auditions for Disney Frozen Jr. on Friday, May 24, 6 pm, at St. Ignatius School Auditorium, Van Reed Rd., West Lawn, and on Thursday, May 30, at 6 pm at the Miller Center, 4 N. 2nd and Penn St., Reading.  Casting will be limited to students between the ages of 8-18 years.  There are many roles available: dramatic roles, vocal solos, dancers, and many interesting character roles.  A description will be available at auditions.

 

Evening rehearsals will begin the week of June 17th.  Rainbow Theatre’s Disney Frozen Jr. will be presented at the Miller Center for four performances, July 19-20, including a Friday morning camp and preschool show.  

 

​Featuring the iconic songs, “Let It Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman ?” and many more from Disney Frozen the movie and Broadway musical, this story is full of warmth and adventure.  The show features the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.  The perfect show for the child in all of us, Frozen brings Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Hans, Kristoff, Sven, and many other memorable characters and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. 

 

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Disney Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.  Disney Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Now in its twenty eighth year, Rainbow Theatre is a performing group for students, who have an interest in performing and learning about theatre production.  They have performed in Disney World, at the Pennsylvania State Capitol, and on a Royal Caribbean performance cruise to Bermuda.  Rainbow Theatre also performs for local community, school, and corporate events.  They have been praised for their talent, youthful energy, and community spirit.
