BCTV Announces Guzman, Eaddy as Summer 2019 Interns

BCTV is proud to announce two new Summer 2019 interns: Francheska Guzman and Khalil Eaddy. Francheska will be providing original written content and Khalil will be providing original video and social content this summer.

Francheska Guzman:

Francheska Guzman is a junior Digital Communications major at Albright College with a passion for writing. While her favorite pieces to write are short psychological thriller/horror stories, her versatility enables her to produce powerful op-eds and human interest pieces with a dash of satire and comedic relief to help ease the difficult realities of the topics she chooses to report on.

During her internship this summer, Francheska wants to focus on highlighting community members, places and events that are often overlooked, saying, “Everyone has something to say, and as a reporter my job is to listen, and then make the world’s eyes and ears follow suit.” In her down time, Francheska loves visiting interactive museums, attending comedy shows, and going on adventures with her puppy, Oso.

Khalil Eaddy:

Khalil Xavier Eaddy is a rising senior at Alvernia University, studying Communications with a minor in Spanish. His dream job is to host his own talk show to give advice and spread love and positivity, like Steve Harvey or Oprah. In pursuit of his passion, he found BCTV! “Because I am interested in learning about all the behind-the-scenes tasks and operations of a television studio, I thought interning at BCTV would be an exciting and educational experience,” he said.

When he’s not studying for classes or interning at BCTV, he decorates cakes and makes other tasty treats at Sweet Street Desserts.
