Performance features multigenerational all-female cast and original music
Reading, Pa. – Alvernia University’s 2019-20 Performing Arts Series continues with a contemporary dance performance by JCWK Dance Lab Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The performance will be held in Francis Hall Theatre on Alvernia’s main campus in Reading, Pennsylvania.
JCWK Dance Lab will perform “Shed” and the world premiere of “HOMEbody,” a multigenerational, all-female cast with original music in collaboration with internationally renown musician Paul Fejko. The performance explores the home as a geographic place and as the physical, human body. Warchal-King is creating “HOMEbody” specifically for the Francis Hall Theatre stage.
JCWK Dance Lab is directed by Berks County native and internationally recognized performer, choreographer and dance educator, Jessica C. Warchal-King.
Alvernia University’s 2019-20 Performing Arts Series features professionally recognized artists with ties to the City of Reading and Greater Berks County.
