Terrell Tallies Fourth MAC Weekly Award

ANNVILLE, Pa. – For her performances on the court from Dec. 16, 2019 to Jan. 4, 2020, sophomore Dejah Terrell earned the MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week honor for women’s basketball, as announced by the conference on January 6.

The accolade is Terrell’s fourth from the MAC Commonwealth this season and she has also been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week twice.

Over three games, Terrell scored a total of 69 points and pulled down 36 rebounds to help the Lions remain undefeated at 13-0.  The sophomore had 18 points and seven blocks, tying for third in the single-game block program record, in a 69-54 road win at Moravian on Dec. 16.  Terrell recorded a career-high 28 points at King’s (Pa.) on Dec. 19 behind shooting 11-of-18 from the floor and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc.  Albright defeated Stevenson for a conference victory on Jan. 4 and the Reading, Pa. native paced the Lions offensively with 23 points.  She completed the four-week span with 14 blocks, six assists and four steals.

Terrell currently sits at the top of the MAC Commonwealth in scoring, as she averages 20.5 points per game.  With 3.4 blocks per game, she ranks second in the conference and is fourth in rebounding with 11.1 per game.  Terrell is seventh in field goal percentage at 49.1 percent.
