Jeffrey Strader Named Acting Vice President at Albright College

Reading, PA – Jeffrey Strader, CPA, has been named acting vice president for finance and strategic partnerships at Albright College, beginning his new role March 2.

In his new role, Strader will serve as the chief financial officer and will oversee the college’s controller and finance offices, facilities and risk management. He will also partner with Albright President Jacquelyn S. Fetrow, Ph.D. ’82 to identify strategic business partnerships that align with the college’s institutional mission and vision.  

An accomplished financial professional with approximately 30 years of experience in both public and private sector accounting, finance and auditing, Strader is well versed in strategic financial planning, public as well as private debt placement, treasury management, financial reporting, compliance and financial auditing. He has extensive experience in contract negotiations and management, and he has overseen all aspects of finance, human resources, information technologies, procurement and real estate.

Strader holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Pfeiffer University. He is relocating to the Berks County area from West Virginia, where he has worked as vice president of administration and chief financial officer at Wheeling Jesuit University.
