“Superheroes” takes off at Studio B

Studio B, Boyertown has postponed their March 2020 events due to COVID-19 concerns.

Studio B Fine Art Gallery, 39A East Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown, PA, announces the opening of a fine art exhibit in all media and book release entitled “Superheroes: What the World Needs Now.”

The book release and exhibit opening are scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020, with a reception from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The exhibit runs through April 12, 2020. The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public.

Prizes will be awarded to artists and writers. The exhibit and prize awards were made possible through donations from BobbiGail Lipton, former owner of Zern’s Farmers Market, and Lesley and Robert Misko, former educators. Ron Schira, art critic with the Reading Eagle newspaper for over 20 years, will serve as juror for the exhibit.

A poetry/prose reading will also be held at the studio on March 29, 2020, from 2-4 p.m. Writers and artists will share their submissions, the details and stories of those individuals who inspired them and their submissions for the project. The event is free and open to the public.
