Get Lucky • 2nd Friday on Penn Ave is St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

You’re gonna feel lucky you came to Penn Avenue, West Reading for 2nd Friday (March 13th) as we celebrate the beginnings of our St. Patrick’s Day weekend events.

Fleet Feet is kicking off Friday morning with their monthly “Doughnut Dash” and continue that evening with the 7th Annual St. Paddy’s Pub Run, a fun run that ends with a free beer at West Reading Tavern. Sign up in store at Fleet Feet, 705 Penn Avenue.

Friday afternoon is a great time to stroll the Avenue and pre-order your St. Patrick’s Day supply of macaroons, cookies and “Irish Potatoes” from The Well Dressed Cake, Ady Cakes and Zipf’s Candies by Sweet Surprises.

If that is not enough, Saturday, March 14th, Sweet Ride Ice Cream, 542 Penn Avenue, will host “Ice Cream for Breakfast” until noon featuring Holiday specials. West Reading Tavern, 606 Penn Avenue, will feature Irish Classics all Saturday, featuring live bagpipe music and a free mashed potato bar from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.

Betulas Botanica, 412 Penn Avenue, will be hosting Reflexology by Gabi until 3:15pm on Saturday. R.S.V.P. is recommended to (484) 516-2321.

Wind down the weekend at Winedown’s Monthly Brunch Series Sunday from 10:30am – 2pm at 622 Penn Avenue. Prepay your reservation and get a special rate on a bottle of sparkling wine for mimosas. Call (610) 373-4907 for reservations.
