Berks CareerLink, United Way partner to introduce Berks Service Corps

Berks County CareerLink and United Way are partnering to introduce Berks Service Corps to help connect young adults with summer employment with nonprofits designed to build new skills and service learning.

This program aims to help nonprofits build capacity at a time when many of their “regular” volunteers may not be able to participate due to being in high-risk groups related to COVID concerns, and at the same time, helps connect young adults with opportunities boosting their work history and knowledge of the community.
