HARRISBURG – Shoemakersville Borough will receive a $10,500 grant from the 2020 Community Conservation Partnerships Program to prepare a Master Site Development Plan for the Shoemakersville Park, according to Senator David G. Argall and Representative Jerry Knowles.

“All great projects begin with a plan just like this one,” said Argall. “I am grateful that Shoemakersville Borough received this well-deserved grant.”

“This is great news for our community,” said Rep. Jerry Knowles. “Grants like this help support recreation and conservation opportunities, which help make the 124th Legislative District a better place to live, work and play. In addition, it creates jobs for the area. These grants show a tremendous example of what can be accomplished when community and state government leaders work together.”
