Unity Within Our Community Presents CommUNITY 5K and BBQ

Have you been looking for ways to connect with our Berks County community, but have felt unsure how to do that? Unity Within Our Community has the perfect opportunity for you. We will be hosting our first ever CommUNITY 5K Run/Walk and BBQ event on August 21, 2021.

Not a runner? Most of us aren’t either! Catch us walking along side you on this beginner-friendly course in beautiful Jim Dietrich Park: 4899 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Rd, Reading, PA 19605. Not interested in walking or running? You are more than welcome to join us for the BBQ which starts immediately after the run.

Unity Within Our Community is excited to announce captivating speakers during the event including, but not limited to, familiar local faces like State Senator Judy Schwank, and Rick Perez – head coach of the State Champion Reading High Red Knights Basketball team. The BBQ will include a family-friendly environment with music compliments of DJ Chris Jones, great food, a beer garden (21+ only), and most importantly: UNITY.
