Amateur Historian Dennis Damiani will do a presentation about “Forgotten Heroes of Berks County” at the Wyomissing Public Library on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 1 PM. The program will focus on the stories of seven young men, all born and raised in Berks County, who enlisted in the Armed Services during World War II. They were among the 350+ from the county who never returned.
Mr. Damiani has researched all aspects of ther lives, a project he fell into accidentally and has embraced with great diligence and enthusiasm for the past several years.
He is retired from Berks County Intermediate Unit, and is a graduate of Albright College and Muhlenberg High School.
