Western Berks Free Medical Clinic Earns National Quality Award

Western Berks Free Medical Clinic (WBFMC), Robesonia, earned the Silver Rating in 2022 from the nonprofit National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC).  This rating attests to WBFMC’s implementation of clinical and administrative policies and procedures that assure its patients of quality healthcare delivery based on standards established for free and charitable clinics across the country.

According to Greg Colahan, president of WBFMC’s board of directors, “Receiving this recognition for the quality of health services our volunteers provide to the community is especially significant as we are actively engaged in expanding patient access by opening a Reading-based satellite later this year.  Now new patients can be assured of the same high-quality care that our 100 volunteer clinicians and support staff have provided for the past 20 years.”
