GoggleWorks, Genesius Theatre Partner for Performance by Tony-Nominated Bill Russell

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts (GoogleWorks) and Genesius Theatre are partnering to present a one night special production in the renowned Albert and Eunice Boscov Theatre. The two community-focused arts organizations will host the dynamic Bill Russell who will share his experience of writing the 1997 Broadway musical Side Show which was nominated for multiple Tony Awards including Best Musical. In addition to a behind-the-scenes look as to what it takes to produce such a sensation, Genesius performers will perform songs from the hit musical as Mr. Russell recants his experiences.

Mr. Russell will tell the story of writing Side Show from the idea through the original Broadway production, which received Tony nominations for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book and an historic joint nomination for Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner for Best Actress in a Musical.
