PrimaryStages Productions Presents: Children’s Theater Festival of Berks County

The Yocum Institute for Arts Education invites you to join a community celebration with 4 days packed with inspiring live performances and events! Their second Children’s Theater Festival Feb. 9 – 12, 2023 kick-offs a season of being curious through theater, song, movement and art!

The opening weekend features free art activities, a Pajama Singalong with songs from Winnie the Pooh and more, a (PG13) Improv Night with teen and college performers, and a headline event: the musical Go, Dog. Go! The cast is ready to bring this musical pop-up book to life, just right for audiences ages 10 and under.

The Yocum Institute for Arts Education has served Berks County for nearly a century, pivoting programming to meet the needs of our community. The Children’s Theater Festival of Berks County is supported by The Stabler Foundation, Arethusa Designs, Reading Musical Foundation (RMF), The Yocum Family Charitable Trust and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Winnie the Pooh and other Sentimental Songs

February 9 & 11, 2023 at 6:00 PM

Led by Eli LaCroix, this relaxed PJ night evening features performers ages 8-adult sharing their talents. Filled with audience participation and singalong we will feature music from many genres and artists. This lovely event will have you singing along as you introduce some of your favorite songs and learn new ones your children know best.

Run time of show is under 70 minutes, this includes a 10 minute intermission
