Koinonia Speakers Toastmasters Host Open House with Guest Speaker

Free to the Public

Koinonia Speakers Toastmasters (KST), KSToastmasters.org, invites all community members to attend the open house and hear special guest speaker, Scott Hamrick, Founder and President, Visible Mission, Inc., reveal how to  Leverage Verbal, Visual & Video Communications and Take the First Step to Success.

Hamrick’s experience encompasses a lifetime of work domestically and internationally – experience garnered during 17 years as a photojournalist with a major metropolitan newspaper and most recently as head of Visible Mission — work that requires expertise in capturing the interest of a vast array of audiences by adeptly employing a broad range of communication skills.

Following guest speaker Hamrick, members and guests will enjoy elements of a regular Toastmasters meeting that includes prepared speeches, Table TopicsTM impromptu speeches and more.  Theresa Hayden, IP4, VP Membership, KST, says, “For many members, the table topics segment is their favorite part of the meeting.  It is where members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes on theme-based topics.  It helps you think and speak clearly on your feet.”

KST provides an environment of fellowship, sharing, joint participation and compassionate encouragement where members strive to contribute to each other’s development as speakers and leaders,” says Scott Cass, DTM, Founder & President, KST.
