Albright Celebrates Female Choral Composers

Choral music fans will want to join us for “Celebrating Female Composers, a choral concert,” Saturday, March 4, 7:30 p.m., Memorial Chapel.

The concert is an Experience event and open to the public for free. Under the direction of Derek Thompson, repertoire includes works by Elaine Hagenberg, Sarah Quartel, Reena Esmail, Rosephayne Powell, among others.

The second of three Friends of Chamber Music events being held on campus this semester is coming up on Friday, March 3, 7:30 p.m., Memorial Chapel. Join us for Fiterstein & Friends with internationally acclaimed artists clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein, Kim Kashkashian, viola, and Shai Wosner, piano.

The third and final concert, Abeo Quartet, is on Friday, March 24, 7:30 p.m., Memorial Chapel. Both concerts are free and open to the public, and both are Experience events for students.
