Noodl is hosting a noodl-Eating Contest in front of their restaurant on Penn Avenue during West Reading’s FallFest on Sept. 16, 2023.

The women’s contest will be at 12 p.m. and the men’s will take place at 1 p.m. Each contest will have eight contestants competing to see who can finish one pound of cold sesame noodles the fastest. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for each winner.

Noodl’s owner, Kevin Kozo, is looking forward to hosting this event. “Fall Fest is such a great way to enter this new season. The opportunity for noodl to showcase the fantastic food we offer to all of Berks County while having fun is just amazing… what’s life without having a little fun?”

Since opening earlier in January, Kozo’s goal has been to create a business model that gives employees the opportunity to better their lives. “Many have called it an incubator – I call it a hand up. If you’re willing to extend your hand, I’ll do the same and teach you the tools to succeed, but you need skin in the game. That’s noodl,” Kozo says. “We have an amazing chef & make fantastic food, but our model is designed around people, and that’s what makes us unique.”

Founded by local entrepreneur Kevin Kozo, noodl is a newly-opened ramen-inspired restaurant in West Reading. Since its opening in January 2023, Kozo’s goal has been to provide a healthy, fast-casual dining experience for Berks County residents and tourists. Their menu is inclusive to all diners, designed to include allergen-free, vegetarian, and vegan choices. Options include signature Asian-inspired ramen bowls with the option to design your own noodle, salad, or grain bowl.
