Judge Eric Taylor to Present on Navigating and Understanding Pennsylvania’s Courts

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m., Judge Eric Taylor will be the guest speaker at a presentation offered by Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts (PMC), a non-partisan, non-profit organization.

The subject of his presentation is Navigating and Understanding Pennsylvania’s Courts. He will discuss the different subject matters of each court, how to learn your way around a courtroom, how judges are selected, and how you can be a more informed citizen.

The program is free and open to the public. The Wyomissing Library is located at 9 Reading Blvd., Wyomissing.

The mission of PMC  is “to educate all Pennsylvanians about our courts and how to navigate them with confidence, provide resources to make that possible for all residents of the Commonwealth, and advocate for judicial reforms that promote inclusion and access to justice.”

The presentation by Judge Taylor is the first in a series of four to be held at the library. The next, on Oct. 17, will focus on How to Administer an Estate; on Nov. 21, the topic will be Necessary Legal Papers; and the final program, on Jan. 16, will feature a discussion of Landlord Tenant relations.
