Combined Veterans Council of Berks County to Host Veterans Day Event

At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, the Combined Veterans Council of Berks County will host the annual Veterans Day ceremony in Veterans Grove, City Park, Reading.

Wynton Butler, a retired major, will be the main speaker for the event.

Butler served as a congressional staff aide to Congressmen Gus Yatron and Tim Holden. He is a past principal of Reading High School, where he was an original J.R.O.T.C. instructor. He currently serves as the social services director for the Reading School District.
